All About Starbucks Corporation (NASDAQ:SBUX) Mobile Ordering

Starbucks Corporation (NASDAQ:SBUX) has introduced Mobile Order & Pay, a mobile ordering service that is available nationwide. Mobile Order & Pay simplifies food ordering and paying at Starbucks stores, thus it has the potential of eliminating store congestions.  With the new mobile ordering service, placing customized orders at Starbucks stores has been greatly simplified.

Initially, Starbucks Corporation (NASDAQ:SBUX)’s Mobile Order & Pay was available only in parts of the U.S., but it has now been made available across the country. The expanded availability of Mobile Order & Pay is nothing short of a blessing for Starbucks customers. In addition to simplifying food ordering process, the app also enhances customer experience.

Using Mobile Order & Pay is as painless as it can get and that also explains why many Starbucks customers are likely to embrace the app.

Placing an order

Once you have the app on you smartphone, the ordering process begins by launching the app after which you press the Order button at the upper-right corner of the app display. Pressing the Order tab takes you to the screen that displays nearby stores. Select the store from where you want to pick up your order.

After selecting a store, the next screen will present you with a menu that is structured by category to simplify your mobile ordering process. Because baristas edit the menu all the time, the list is always accurate.

Using the customization menu on Mobile Order & Pay, you can use to enrich your order and come up with something special than what is on the regular menu.

Paying for the order

Once you are done creating your order, the next screen displays the price and you are asked to confirm it. After you confirm the order, the next screen shows you the digital receipt and if you would like to tip the baristas.

Ordering through Starbucks Corporation (NASDAQ:SBUX)’s Mobile Order & Pay lets you know how far you are from the store at which you have placed an order and when you can pick up your order. Although Mobile Order & Pay simplifies ordering at Starbucks, the process takes a bit longer than what the company says it should.

Starbucks’ Mobile Order & Pay is available on Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOG)’s Android and Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL)’s iOS platforms.
