CBS Corporation (NYSE:CBS) seems to have made elaborate plans to make sure that its streaming of NFL creates record viewing. For that purpose, the company plans to stream more NFL game coverage during the 2015 season than ever before. Most importantly, the company intends to make all the streams available for free of cost. That means there is no authentication of the user’s pay TV subscription.

Available On Different Devices

CBS Corporation (NYSE:CBS) said that the streams can be accessed from tablets, desktops, and laptops at cbssports.com. That apart, stream is available through some connected TV devices, as well as, televisions. That included Roku TV models, Roku Players, Chromecast, Apple TV, and Xbox. There will be two regular season games and four playoff games apart from the Super Bowl 50 for streaming.

The company indicated that the first game will commence on October 4 at 9.30 in the morning eastern time. It will be streamed through the national broadcast. The first game is between the New York Jets and the Miami Dolphins in London. The second game is played between Carolina Panthers and Dallas Cowboys on November 26. That means it will be the first time that CBS Corporation (NYSE:CBS) will broadcast a game on Thanksgiving Day, which will also be streamed live.

Again Streamed

The company indicated all playoff coverage of AFC will once more be streamed. CBS Sports Digital SVP and GM, Jeffrey Gerttula, said that the company was excited to provide more NFL on its streaming platform than ever before. He said that for the first time, fans can enjoy two regular season games and AFC playoff action.

On top of these features, CBS Corporation (NYSE:CBS) believes that the historic Super Bowl will complete the season. The company disclosed that its streaming coverage can be available to customers of Verizon Communications Inc. (NYSE:VZ) on phones NFL mobile.
