As such, the fund held 405,000 shares in the company at the end of the quarter compared to 450,000 at the end of the previous quarter. The new stake in Time Warner Cable was valued at $60.7 million. The previous stake was worth $68.4 million.
Angelo Gordon neither increased nor decreased its holding in DirecTV (NASDAQ:DTV) during 1Q. The fund maintained a position of 700,000 shares in the company at the end of 1Q same as at the end of 4Q2014. However, the financial value of the investment in DTV declined to $59.6 million from $60.6 million in the previous report.
Angelo Gordon decided to offload some shares in Tribune Publishing Co (NYSE:TPUB) during 1Q2015 that it held a little over 2 million shares in the company at the end of the quarter. The stake was worth about $39 million. The previous stake was 2.24 million shares valued at $51.4 million
Angelo Gordon deleted Allergan, Inc. (NYSE:AGN), Quad/Graphics, Inc. (NYSE:QUAD) and Covidien plc (NYSE:COV) among others from its portfolio in 1Q.
