Hendershot Investments Inc maintained its largest equity position in IT stocks, but also had significant exposure to healthcare and industrial sectors. The fund sold out in one stock during 1Q2015 and made two new purchases in the quarter. In the latest 13F filing, Hendershot also disclosed reducing stakes in 30 stocks and boosting position in 21 others. Overall, the portfolio of Hendershot decreased to 189.7 million in the latest filing compared to 190.6 million in the previous one.

Berkshire Hathaway Inc. (NYSE:BRK.B) makes 6.7% of portfolio

Hendershot Investments has its largest equity bet in Berkshire Hathaway Inc. (NYSE:BRK.B), which accounts for 6.7% of its total portfolio. The fund decreased its stockholding in Berkshire to 88,599 shares in 1Q2015 from 88,753 shares in 4Q2014. The new position in Berkshire was worth $12.8 million at the end of 1Q.

Berkshire Hathaway Inc. (NYSE:BRK.B) impressed in its 1Q earnings, posting both EPS and revenue above Wall Street estimates. The conglomerate posted EPS of $3,143, ahead of the estimate of $2,373. Revenue came in at $48.64 billion, above the consensus estimate of $48.06 billion.

In recent shareholder meeting, Warren Buffett, the chairman of Berkshire, said that the company would continue its trend of success for many decades to come even after he steps down.

Hendershot trims stake in Apple

Hendershot Investments slightly cut its exposure to Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) during 1Q such that it owned 89,919 shares in the company in the latest report compared to 90,669 shares in the previous filing. The new position in Apple was worth $11.2 million at the end of 1Q. Despite the reduction of stake in Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL), the stock remains the second-largest position in the portfolio of Hendershot Investments.

Stake in Oracle falls slightly

Hendershot Investments offloaded some shares in Oracle Corporation (NYSE:ORCL) in 1Q, ending the quarter with 172,347 shares in the company compared to 179,057 shares in the previous filing.

Oracle Corporation (NYSE:ORCL) accounts for 3.9% of the total portfolio of Hendershot Investments.
