Get Your Smartphone Delivered And Setup At Your Home With Sprint Corp (S)
The highly competitive wireless market in the US is forcing some carriers to come up with creative ways of staying in touch with their customer base, in a bid to safeguard their market share. Sprint Corp (NYSE:S) is one of them. Feeling threatened by other big players in the space, the wireless operator has unveiled a home delivery service that lets it attend to the needs of customers regardless of where they are.
Sprint Corp (NYSE:S) is offering to deliver phones, tablets and other connected devices for free, be it at home, at the office or other locations where a customer may need the service. The service is currently limited to eligible upgrade customers with the company affirming that plans are underway to have it available in other key markets.
Kansas City is the first beneficiary of the delivery service as Sprint Corp (NYSE:S) moves to expand it across the country, using over 5,000 branded cars while also employing 5,000 new staff, to make the service an immediate reality. Plans are already underway to cater for customers in the Miami and Chicago area, starting April 20.
Sprint Corp (NYSE:S) representatives will not only be delivering phones and other gadgets to the desired location, but will also assist in the transfer of content from other phones while also providing tutorials and tips on how to use a new device. The wireless operator believes the delivery service is a revolutionary service based on customer research and insights.
Sprint Corp (NYSE:S) is ramping up support for customers, having already announced plans to set up 1,435 co- branded stores at RadioShack outlets. The expansion plan and the delivery service are just part of a larger plan to help customers gain access to their favorite device in the most convenient way.
