SAMSUNG ELECT LTD(F) (SSNLF) Galaxy S6 Edge Bends like Apple Inc. iPhone 6 Plus
110 pounds of pressure appears to be the magical number for both Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL)’s iPhone 6 Plus and the SAMSUNG ELECT LTD(F) (OTCMKTS:SSNLF) Galaxy S6 Edge.
Not Only Bend But Break?
A new test conducted by third-party warranty firm Squaretrade, showed that not only did the Galaxy S6 Edge bend but it broke leaving the potential that owners of the new phone could have a pocket full of glass instead of a bent phone. Much worse.
Samsung cracked many jokes about the bendable nature of the iPhone 6 Plus, but now finds itself in a worse position as the Galaxy S6 Edge handled testing worse then the iPhone 6 Plus. Samsung wasn’t alone as the new HTC One M9 broke completely at 120 lbs of pressure.
