Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. (NYSE:WMT) recently opened a new Walmart Neighborhood Market conveniently located at 560 S. Broad St. in Ellaville,Georgia. The store was inaugurated with a brief ribbon-cutting ceremony and presentations of $1,500 in grants to local community groups.

The new store is approximately 11,000 square feet and will remain open from 07:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 08:00 a.m. to 09:00 p.m. on Sundays. The store offers a broad assortment of merchandise at competitive prices.

Wal-Mart’s Ellaville employs up to 30 full-time and part-time associates under store manager Keturah Beckwith, who began her career with a retail giant as an hourly cashier in 2000. Beckwith said that a new Ellaville store provides a new convenient shopping option for local community. The store houses fresh produce and meats, groceries, frozen foods, pharmacy and fuel.

Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. (NYSE:WMT) offers fresh produce and a full-line of groceries from leading brand names at its Ellaville Walmart Neighborhood Market. Wal-Mart also provides farm-grown quality produce through its linkages with growers, all at added convenience and low prices.

In addition to groceries, the store stocks pet products, health and beauty aids and cleaning supplies. Pharmacy offers a comprehensive range of products and services, including pharmacy assistance for product and prescription questions. Ellaville residents can also use the Walmart mobile app for iPhone and Android to order refills on the go by transferring their prescriptions.

The new store will also enable Ellaville residents to buy over 7 million items directly on Walmart.com, which will be shipped for free to new Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market for pick-up. Walmart.com offers broad range of electronics, home décor, toys and gifts, and exclusive selection of many other products. Customers can also use Savings Catcher comparison tool and benefit from an eGift card, in case they bring evidence for competitor’s offering which might be lower than the price they paid at Wal-Mart.
