Amazon.com, Inc Highlights Record-Breaking Holiday Season for Prime

Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) celebrated the company’s 20th holiday season with record growth to Amazon Prime.  This ends a packed Holiday season for Amazon which started with a bang with an Eight Days of Cyber Monday Promotion, and Eight Days of Black Friday.

According to unofficial ChannelAdvisor data, the company has seen 19.7% sales growth year over year through December 22nd.While the company shared a number of interesting Holiday Fun Facts relating to Shipping, Devices & Digital Media, Purchases and Best Sellers, there still is no concrete numbers on Prime Membership nor do they shine any concrete light on the company’s performance in the holiday season. Nonetheless, they provide an interesting snapshot of the holiday season and interesting tibidts.

10 million new members worldwide tried Prime, Fire TV stick fastest selling Amazon device ever, Fire TV best seller on Amazon

The company boasted  over 10 million new members worldwide “tried” Prime for the first time. During the holiday season, the Fire TV was the best selling media streaming box and the Fire TV stick was the fastest selling Amazon device ever. Among the rest of the facts lay a bunch of fun facts ranging from the 185 countries Amazon shipped to, to the fact the last Prime One-Day Shipping Order to be delivered in time for Christmas was placed on December 23rd at 2:55 pm EST, or even the fact Amazon customers purchased enough Rubbermaid storage containers to pack a lunch for all of Montana.
