Volvo (VOLVY) to Provide 4 Yr Sirius XM (SIRI) Subscription
Volvo AB (ADR) (OTCMKTS:VOLVY) Car buyers will be happy to hear that they will receive a 4-year subscription to Sirius XM Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ:SIRI)‘s SiriusXM traffic and weather information when they buy a 2015 ½ model that comes with the most recent edition of Volvo Sensus Connect, which is Volvo’s connected car platform.
SiriusXM traffic and weather information will be displayed on the Volvo Sensus Connect’s display. SiriusXM Traffic is able to give motorists detailed information about the speed and flow of traffic, as well as accident location reports in an effort to help steer them away from areas that are experiencing congestion.

This new promotion will not replace Volvo’s other offers. The company said that customers who buy a new vehicle with a satellite radio will still receive a six-month subscription to the SiriusXM “All Access” package. . The “All Access” package comes with access to SiriusXM’s premium programming lineup, which includes Howard Stern, every NFL, MLB®, and NBA game, every NASCAR® race, plus NHL® games and PGA TOUR® coverage, as well as access to SiriusXM Internet Radio on smartphones and other connected devices as well as online at SiriusXM.
