Top Google Trending Fashion Brands: Forever 21, H&M, AEO, Hollister Co, ANF

Google Trends provide an interesting look at what’s popular and trending. While a brand needs to be fairly popular to even crack the top of the Google Trend Fashion Brands, it provides a snapshot of the world of Fashion and what people are seeking out.

Leading the way in the Google Trend rankings this month is Forever 21. The Los Angeles California based chain of fashion retailers had $3.7 billion in sales in 2013 and has been in the top 10 in the last 129 months. Within the Forever 21 search term the quickest rising queries were “Forever 21 coupon” and “Forever 21 men”. Number 2 trending is the privately held Swedish multinational retail-clothing company, H&M, which remains at #2 from last month and has had 130 months in the top 10. For H&M the hot search queries were “alexander wang” or “coats”.

American Eagle Outfitters (NYSE:AEO), Hollister Co, and Abercrombie & Fitch Co.(NYSE:ANF) rounded out the Top 5. Of the 3, Abercrombie advanced one space, while the other two were in the same position last month. All 3 have had 130 months in the top 10 showing staying power

Rounding out the Top 10

The Spanish clothing and accessories retailer Zara dropped out of its peak position of number 5, to number 6. The company has enjoyed 47 months in the top 10. The Italian brand, Gucci was number 7 flat from last month, while enjoying 130 months in the top 10. Tiffany & Co and Rolex are 8th and 9th, and young women’s clothing retailer The Wet Seal, Inc. (NASDAQ:WTSL) completes the Top 10.
