GoPro Beats Expectations and Raises Guidance for Holiday Quarter
GoPro Earnings Q3
GoPro, Inc (NASDAQ:GPRO) reported non-GAAP earnings excluding items of 12 cents per share, compared to expectations of 8 cents. Revenue rose about 46 percent to $280 million. Analysts on average had expected $265.6 million.
The company reported GAAP earnings of 10 cents per share.
Non-GAAP net income excludes, where applicable, the effect of stock-based compensation, amortization of acquired intangible assets and the tax impact of these excluded items.
Forecasting a Strong Holiday Quarter
The company said it expected a Holiday Quarter profit of 65-69 cents on $550-$580 million revenue, compared to analysts expectations of 55 cents on $505. million.
Best Product Launch
Highlights from the 3rd quarter included the company executing the most successful product launch in company history measured via sales, media impressions and efficient inventory management in introducing the HERO4 Black.
